Factory Reset was born in the heart of Phoenix, Arizona, on March 9, 2020, right in the front bedroom of original drummer Tommy’s ranch-style house. We cranked up the volume, ruffled some feathers, and downed enough beer to make our bosses look at us sideways the next day. Amidst the chaos of sound and brews, we found a compelling reason to forge ahead.
A mere two days later, the city closed its doors, followed by the state, the nation, and it felt like the whole world was on pause. The pandemic descended upon us like a dissonant riff, but we clung to our music. We stayed connected, honed our chops, and when the time was right, we set up shop in a cozy Jam Pad nestled in downtown Phoenix.
In October 2024, Tommy decided to hang up his drumsticks and high-hat. Now he’s enjoying the Phoenix music scene from the audience’s POV. Factory Reset drafted a new drummer to claim the throne as his own. Pete J. has joined the bad and we’re ready to hit the road again.
